Frei Named AAC Offensive Player of the Week

WALESKA, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the sixth edition of the women's soccer weekly awards on Monday. After playing a part in four of the team's five goals on Saturday, Natascha Frei was named the Offensive Player of the Week.

In the team's 5-0 win against Spartanburg Methodist College, the junior recorded a hat trick and had an assist. The St. Gallen, Switzerland native scored three straight goals in the second half for the hat trick and picked up the assist on the final goal of the contest. 

This is the first weekly award for Frei. The next edition of the weekly award will be announced on Monday, Sept. 29
