Men's Golf Finishes Third at AAC Championship

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga.- The men's golf team entered the final day of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) in third place. The team was unable too make a run at the top, finishing the championship tournament in third place. 

TWU finished the third round with a team score of 304, giving them a 908 total for the tournament. The team was eight strokes behind the winning team.

On the individual scoreboard, Tennessee Wesleyan had two top five finishes and three finishes in the top 11. A one-under par score of 71 gave Jacob Parton a total score of 219 for sole possession of third place. Dalton Sutton shot par in the third round, totaling 223 for the tournament to finish tied for fourth. Josh Loveday finished the tournament with a score of 229 after shooting 80 in the third round, placing him in a tie for 11th place. 

JT McKenzie carded a 88 in the third round for a three-round total of 245 and a tie for 53rd while Cody Skipper, playing only his second round as a sub, shot 81. 

Parton and Sutton both made the All-Tournament Team.

This concludes the season for the Bulldogs.
