ATHENS, Tenn.- The men's tennis played a match on Sunday after playing the previous day. The second-ranked Bulldogs picked up a 5-2 win against the SCAD Atlanta Bees.

Maceo Simpson and Agustin Gaia won their doubles matches to give the team a 1-0 lead. The former won the No. 1 doubles match 6-2 while the latter used an identical 6-2 score to win the No. 2 doubles.

To get to five points and the match win, TWU won the singles matches 3-6. Patricio Gallegos won the No. 3 spot 6-3, 6-2, David Leon won the No. 4 singles 6-2, 7-6 [4], Asier Pascual won the No. 5 singles 6-4, 6-3, and Zoilo Rios won the No. 6 singles 6-1, 6-1.

The win moved the Bulldogs' record to 9-2 overall and 6-0 in the AAC. The team remains at home for their next match, a conference showdown with No. 19 Union Commonwealth University on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
