Rochard Nabs AAC Weekly Award

Waleska, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the weekly awards for baseball on Monday. Taking home the Pitcher of the Week award was Sam Rochard. This is the eighth edition of the weekly award. 

Rochard earned the award based on his time on the mound against Point University. In six innings of work, the junior struck out seven batters while not allowing a batter to reach base via a walk. The Williamsburg, Va., native only gave up one hit in the win. 

This is the first weekly honor. The next weekly award will be announced on Monday, April 17.
