Rochards Nabs Second Consecutive Weekly Award

Waleska, Ga.- For the second week in a row, Sam Rochard was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Pitcher of the Week. The weekly award was announced by the league office on Monday. This is the ninth edition of the weekly award. 

The Williamsburg, Va., native was given the award for his work against Reinhardt University on Saturday. In six innings of work, Rochard only allowed three hits. The junior struck out five opposing batters in the pitching win. Rochard did not allow a run during his time on the mound.

This is the first weekly honor. The next weekly award will be announced on Monday, April 24.
