In many cases, high school teammates signing with the same school is just a coincidence, but that isn't the case with McMinn County High School cheerleaders Sami Breedlove, Brianna Carroll and Brittany Krouse.

All three have decided to continue cheering at Tennessee Wesleyan College.

"We are best friends," Krouse said. "It was something we planned - we didn't want to go off separate ways."

Aside from spending more time with two of her best friends, Breedlove said staying close to home was an important factor in choosing TWC and said it felt great when she actually signed.

"I was very excited," said Breedlove, who plans to major in criminal justice and forensics. "It's great to get a chance to cheer in college."

Carroll knows Wesleyan very well - her father teaches at the college. She plans to major in education.

"I grew up on campus," Carroll said. "It just seems natural for me to go there. I thought about Lee and UTK, but I think I just fit in better at Wesleyan. It felt good to actually sign, because now I know for sure where I will be going."

Krouse, who plans to major in business, said she thinks TWC is simply the best place for her.

"I really like the campus," Krouse said. "I just felt more comfortable at TWC. I feel like Wesleyan has a lot to offer. When I signed, I felt like I was on top of the world. I am really glad to know where I'm going and I'm excited about attending TWC."
