MSC Announces Men's Bowling Season Awards

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Mid-South Conference (MSC) released the end-of-season awards for men's bowling. The awards include All-Conference Teams, All-Academic Teams, and the Champions of Character Team.

The All-Conference Teams feature a First and Second Team. Between the two teams, Tennessee Wesleyan had seven members be named to one of the teams, the most of any team in the conference. To be considered for one of the All-Conference Teams, a bowler has to bowl in at least 13 games during the conference's regular season. Making the MSC All-Conference First Team were Adam Driver and Oliver Lawson while Cameron Compton, Kory Driver, Spencer Foutz, Devean Littlejohn, and CJ Williams were named to the MSC All-Conference Second Team.

Hunter Hardway, Lawson, and Littlejohn were named to the MSC All-Academic Team. To earn a spot on the All-Academic Team,  a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.

Lawson was named the team's representative to the MSC Champions of Character Team. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

The final award the men's team picked up was the Assistant Coach of the Year award, given to assistant coach David McGowan.
