Men's Golf Finishes Fall Season at AAC Fall Championship

Seneca, S.C.- The men's golf team played their last tournament of the fall season on Monday and Tuesday. The team was on the tees at the AAC Fall Championship, played at Cross Creek Plantation in Seneca, S.C. The tournament was played over two days and featured three rounds.

Monday:

After completing the first two rounds, Jacob Parton led the team with a score of 149 after shooting 72 and 77 to be in 14th place. Joe Britton finished the two rounds with a score of 152 after carding two rounds of 76 to be in a tie for 22nd place. Scores of 79 and 74 gave Bradley Dunkle a total of 153, jumping him up 22 spots up the scoreboard to be tied for 27th place.

Josh Loveday was tied for 45th after the first two rounds, shooting 78 and 80 for a total of 158. Rounding out the Bulldogs in the tournament was Morgan Baldwin, who shot 78 and 81 for a total of 159 to be in a tie for 50th place.

Through two rounds, TWU had a team total of 304 and 307 for a two-round total of 611. The score placed the team in seventh place.

Tuesday:

With the completion of the third round, Parton shot a 79 for a three-round total of 228 to finish in a tie for 21st. Dunkle (77) and Britton (78) both finished tied for 25th with a three-round total of 230 for the tournament.

Loveday copied his second-round score of 80 in the final round, moving his total to 238 for 42nd place in the field. Baldwin finished the tournament in 69th after shooting an 89 in the third round to make his total 248.

On the team scoreboard, the Bulldogs shot a team score of 314 to finish the tournament with a score of 925, finishing in a tie for sixth place.

This concludes the fall season for Tennessee Wesleyan. The team will return to action in the spring.
