Men's Golf Competes at The Invite at Innisbrook

INNISBROOK, Fla.- The men's golf was back out on the links on Monday and Tuesday. The team competed at The Invite at Innisbrook, a three-round tournament at the Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort. The 20-team field at the tournament consisted of 13 teams in the 2023-24 NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Preseason Poll.

The top finisher for the Bulldogs was Joe Britton, who used rounds of 77. 75, and 76 to total 228 strokes to finish in a tie for 39th place. Dodj Watson shot two rounds of 76 and a third round of 79 for a tournament total of 231 to be tied for 54th place. A three-round total of 233 (76, 76, 81) placed JT McKenzie in a tie for 62nd place while Bradley Dunkle was tied for 91st with scores of 84, 78, and 81 giving him a total of 243. Jacob Parton rounded out the team on the scoreboard, finishing in a tie for 98th place after shooting 246 (80, 79, 87) through three rounds. 

As a team, Tennessee Wesleyan finished tied for 17th. The team shot 309, 306, and 317 for a three-round total of 931.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the AAC Fall Preview on Oct. 16-17. The tournament is set to be played at Windermire Country Club in Columbia, S.C.
