Men's Golf Concludes Fall Season at Bojangles Intercollegiate

Vonore, Tenn.- After being on the links on Monday and Tuesday, the men's golf team played another three rounds of golf on Saturday and Sunday. This time, the team played as the host of the Bojangles Intercollegiate at The Links at Kahite in Vonore, Tenn. The course measured 7,170 yards and had a Par of 72.

Joe Britton led the team on the individual scoreboard, shooting rounds of 78, 72, and 71 for a total of 221 in three rounds. Britton's final-round score helped him jump up seven spots to finish in fourth place, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Rounds of 71, 76, and 79 helped Bradley Dunkle shoot 226 in three rounds, putting him in a tie for 12th. JT McKenzie was tied for 25th after shooting three rounds of 78, a total of 234.

A total score of 239 with rounds of 78, 75, and 74 placed Jacob Parton in a tie for 39th while Dodj Watson finished in 47th place after carding scores of 86, 77, and 80 for a total of 243. Forrest Atkins finished the tournament 51st, shooting 246 for the tournament with scores of 79, 82, and 85. Logan Oody shot 82, 84, and 85 to finish in 58th place while Tyler Harwell rounded out the Bulldogs in the tournament, finishing 65th with scores of 90, 89, and 89 for a 268 total.

As a team, Tennessee Wesleyan finished fourth overall in the 11-team field. The team carded scores of 310, 303, and 306 to finish the tournament with a score of 919. 

This was the final tournament of the fall for the Bulldogs.
