(RV) Men's Lacrosse Falls to No. 1 Keiser

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The (RV) men's lacrosse team traveled to Florida for two conference games. The first of the two games, their Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) opener, took place on Thursday against the No. 1 team in the NAIA and defending National Champions, the Keiser University Seahawks.

Kennedy Moore put the game in a 1-1 tie early in the first quarter, scoring at the 12:08 mark. The momentum did not carry though as Keiser scored the next five goals to take a 6-1 lead into the second quarter.

The first three goals of the second quarter went towards the opponents' score, moving the Bulldogs into a 9-1 hole. Jackson Lollis began to dig the team out of the hole with a goal, and goals from Moore and Robert Holekamp made the score 15-4 at halftime in favor of the opponents.

The offense was not able to pull much closer in the game as they only scored one more goal in the contest. The goal came in the third quarter off the stick of Hayden Harmon. The final score read 26-5.

Tennessee Wesleyan (1-3, 0-1 AAC) concludes their Florida trip with a game against another ranked conference opponent on Saturday. The team will face No. 3 Webber International University at 1:00 p.m.
