WALESKA, Ga.- The men's lacrosse team went on the road for the final time in the regular season on Saturday. The road trip to them to the home of the No. 1 team in the NAIA, the Reinhardt University Eagles, for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) match.
The team was not able to find their rhythm during the game against the top-ranked foe. Reinhardt put the Bulldogs in a hole early as they scored the first eight goals of the game. TWU found their way to a goal in the second quarter. Robert Holekamp scored to put the team on the scoreboard. Kennedy Moore gave the team their second goal of the half a few minutes later. Unfortunately, the momentum did not carry over for the Bulldogs as the opponents went on to win the game 25-2.
Tennessee Wesleyan (4-8, 2-4 AAC) returns to their home field on Saturday, April 6 for a conference contest against Montreat College. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
