Garrihy Nabs AAC Weekly Award for Fourth Time

WALESKA, Ga.- Michael Garrihy added another weekly award to his mantle for the 2023 season. Garrihy was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for a fourth time on Monday. This was the ninth edition of the weekly award announced by the league office.

The senior took home the award based on his play against No. 13 Union College and (RV) Milligan University. In two ties, the goalkeeper finished the week with 11 saves. Garrihy had four saves against Union while adding seven more in the game against Milligan.  

This is the fourth weekly award for Garrihy. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, Oct. 30.
