Bulldogs compete in Indoor Track National Championships

Tennessee Wesleyan had three athletes to qualify for the NAIA Indoor National Championships. All three athletes gave a good performance this past weekend in Ohio. Avery Hubbard ran in the 60 meter dash, Joseph Mullen competed in the one mile run and the 5000 meter run, and Roderick Bowman also ran in the 5000 meter run.

Joseph Mullen and Roderick Bowman competed in the preliminaries of the 5000 meter run on Thursday and both qualified for the finals on Saturday. In the preliminaries, Bowman finished 11th with a time of 14:54.54 and Mullen finished 12th with a time of 14:55.34. On Saturday, in the finals, Bowman finished 9th overall with a time of 14:43.86 and Mullen finished 11th in 15:11.70.

Mullen ran the one mile preliminaries on Friday in a time of 4:27.42 but did not qualify for the finals.

Avery Hubbard ran his preliminary heat on Friday and set a personal record of 6.88 in the 60 meter dash. He did not qualify for the finals, but did finish 11th overall.
