Women's Golf Takes Home Conference Awards
Waleska, Ga.- The year-end awards for women's golf was announced by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). Three student-athletes from the women's golf team took home awards.
Maisie Hassall was named a member of the All-AAC First Team and All-Freshman Team. The freshman finished tied for second at the AAC Championships. The Haywards Heath, England native had a scoring average of 78.14. Hassall had multiple top 10 finishes this season and picked up a few individual titles.
The team's representative to the AAC Champions of Character was Morgan Satterfield. To be named to the Champions of Character Team, a player must exhibit the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.
Olivia Sargla earned a spot on the AAC All-Academic Team. To earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a 3.25 grade-point average.
