Women's Golf Coast to Third Place Finish at Northeast Tennessee Collegiate

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.- The women's golf team played in the Northeast Tennessee Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The two-round tournament was played at the Johnson City Country Club in Johnson City, Tenn.

TWU had three golfers finish in the top 15 of the individual leaderboard. Cora Mount had the best finish on the team, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team with a total score of 155 after round scores of 79 and 76. A total score of 164 after rounds of 82 and 81 placed Morgan Satterfield in 10th place while Ann Sofie Madsen shot 86 and 80 to finish with a total of 166 and be tied for 15th place. 

In a tie for 23rd place was Bevin Harrill, who shot 86 and 89 for a total score of 175. A score of 194 placed Olivia Sargla (99 and 95) and Cadie Prater (92 and 102) in a tie for 39th place.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished in third. The first day the team shot 333 and the team shot 326 on the second day for a two-day total of 659 to be in third place. 

Up next for the team is the TWU Spring Invitational. The tournament sees the team host at Springbrook Golf and Country Club in Niota, Tenn. The tournament is set for Monday and Tuesday.
