Women's Tennis Keeps No. 6 Ranking in New NAIA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The national office announced the newest edition of the 2024 Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll. In the poll released on Wednesday, the Lady Bulldogs were ranked in the same No. 6 spot they were ranked in the last poll.  This was the fourth edition of the poll. 

The Top 25 was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and Unaffiliated Groupings.

TWU earned 288 voting points in the new poll to stay in the sixth position. Tennessee Wesleyan remains the highest ranked team from the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). 

A record of 10-3 helped the Lady Bulldogs earn their spot in the poll. The team has wins over four teams ranked or receiving votes in the poll: No. 13 Union Commonwealth University, No. 20 SCAD Atlanta, (RV) Ave Maria University, and (RV) Brenau University. The team has a matched against No. 23 Reinhardt University remaining. 

The next edition of the poll will be announced on Wednesday, April 10.
