Manney Named NAIA Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Kansas City, Mo.- The second edition of the women's outdoor track and field weekly awards was announced by the NAIA on Wednesday. Paige Manney took home the NAIA Outdoor Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Manney earned the award after her performance at the Emory Invite. The junior won the Triple Jump with a mark of 12.18m. The mark was not only an NAIA "A" Standard, it is the No. 1 mark in the NAIA. The Athens, Tenn., native placed second in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.45m. In the High Jump, Manney tied for third with a mark of 1.50m. Manney also hit an NAIA "B" Standard in the 100m Hurdles.

This is the first national outdoor weekly award for Manney. The next edition of the award will be announced on Wednesday, March 29.
