Volleyball Schedule Announced by Whaley

Athens, Tenn.- Head coach Kylie Whaley announced the volleyball schedule for the 2023 season. The team will play 13 matches at home this season in a schedule that features 30 matches.  

The team will begin the regular season on Aug. 26 with a doubleheader against Keiser University in James L. Robb Gymnasium. After going on the road for six games, including the Faulkner Invitational, the Lady Bulldogs return to Athens on Sept. 12 for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game against rival Bryan College. The week ends with back-to-back home matches against Brenau University (Sept. 15) and Montreat College (Sept. 16).

TWU plays at home one more time in the month of September, welcoming the newcomers to the AAC, University of the Pikeville, to Athens on Sept. 26.

Three consecutive home matches start the month of October for the Lady Bulldogs. First, Johnson University comes to town on Oct. 3. Kentucky Christian University and Bluefield University conclude the three-match stand with contests on Oct. 6-7, respectively. The team plays back-to-back again on Oct. 13-14 when they play Columbia International University and Columbia College, respectively. Union College comes to town for a conference contest on Oct. 17 before the team's final game of the regular season, their Senior Day contest against Milligan University.
