ATHENS, Tenn.- The men's soccer team returned to their home field on Sunday for a game against the Columbia College Koalas. In a battle, the Bulldogs fell 1-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game.
The lone goal in the game that sunk TWU was scored in the 31st minute of the game. Shots by Cian Gantley, Khumo Modise, Grant Barron, Robin Vezinhet, and Faheem Khan did not find the net in the second half as the Bulldogs tried to even the score.
The schedule takes TWU (5-5-2, 3-4-1 AAC) back on the road for a contest against Union Commonwealth University on Wednesday. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
