Baseball Finishes Season Ranked No. 5 in NAIA Postseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The national office released the final poll of the 2025 baseball season on Wednesday. After finishing in the quarterfinals of the World Series as one of the final five teams, the Bulldogs were ranked No. 5 in the postseason edition of the 2025 NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
Four From Baseball Earn NAIA All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The 2025 NAIA Baseball All-America Teams were announced by the national office on Wednesday. The All-American Teams consist of three teams, and the first and second teams are recognized as ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Sporting Goods. Tennessee Wesleyan had four student-athletes earn a spot on one of the three teams.
Two Plays by Baseball at 2025 Avista NAIA World Series Featured on ESPN's SportsCenter

ATHENS, Tenn.- During the baseball team's time in the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series, two plays made by Tennessee Wesleyan players were featured on ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 plays. The plays occurred in back-to-back days in the games against Webber International University on Tuesday and Georgia Gwinnett College on Wednesday.
Shaw Named to 2025 Avista NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team

LEWISTON, Idaho- Corbin Shaw was named to the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team at first base for his play during the series. Members of the media and tournament committees selected the All-Tournament Team honorees. The team was announced after Friday night's championship game.
Baseball Ends Season in Final Five at Avista NAIA World Series

LEWISTON, Idaho- The season came to an end on Wednesday for the baseball team in the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series. The third-seeded Bulldogs fell in an elimination game against the No. 2 seed Georgia Gwinnett College Grizzlies 5-3.
47 Spring Student-Athletes Earn Daktronic NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports was released by the national office. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically including baseball, softball, men's and women's track and field, men's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's and women's tennis. Tennessee Wesleyan had 47 student-athletes across the five sports earn the honor.

LEWISTON, Idaho- The baseball team avoided elimination at the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series on Tuesday. Third seed Tennessee Wesleyan extended their time in Lewiston, Idaho with a 17-7 win against No. 5 seed Webber International University.

LEWISTON, Idaho- It was a tough day for the baseball team at the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series on Monday. The third-seeded Bulldogs were not able to get the bats going as they fell to No. 2 seed Georgia Gwinnett College 14-0.

LEWISTON, Idaho- For the eighth time in program history, the baseball team played a game in the Avista NAIA World Series. Tennessee Wesleyan, the third seed in the field, faced the No. 8 seeded Loyola University New Orleans Wolfpack. The Bulldogs won the game 7-3.
Baseball Nabs Third Seed at Avista NAIA World Series; Set to Play Friday

LEWISTON, Idaho- For the eighth time in program history, and the second consecutive season, the baseball team is playing in the Avista NAIA World Series. Tennessee Wesleyan earned the honor after winning the 2025 NAIA Opening Round Kingsport Bracket, their eighth Opening Round Championship. The World Series is set to be played May 23-31 at Harris Field in Lewiston, Idaho. Last season, the Bulldogs finished as the national runner-ups. TWU has left Lewiston with a national championship trophy twice, once in 2012 and once in 2019. This is the 68th edition of the Avista NAIA World Series.

KINGSPORT, Tenn.- The baseball team wrote two different stories on Wednesday. The first story was tumultuous for the Bulldogs as the team fell to the No. 3 seed Columbia College Cougars 7-2. The second story had a happier ending as Tennessee Wesleyan won a slugfest to keep their World Series hopes alive.
No. 1 Seed Baseball Scores Six in First Inning in Kingsport Bracket Win

KINGSPORT, Tenn.- The baseball team was scheduled to play their first game of the 2025 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round in the Kingsport Bracket on Monday. The weather had different plans, though, as the forecasted weather forced the game to be moved to Tuesday. When Tuesday rolled around, the top-seeded Bulldogs went on to face the No. 4 seed Indiana Tech Warriors. TWU won the game 8-1.

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The national office announced the 2025 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round locations on Wednesday. The baseball program found out they are returning to Kingsport, Tenn., the location where they just won their 16th Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament Title this past Saturday. The team nabbed an automatic bid to the opening round by appearing in the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Tournament Championship Game.

KINGSPORT, Tenn.- Tennessee Wesleyan played for a championship on Saturday. The second-seeded Bulldogs faced the No. 1 seed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament, the Reinhardt University Eagles. A 4-2 score gave TWU their 16th AAC Tournament Title.
