Campbell Joins Men's Bowling Staff

ATHENS, Tenn.- Head men's and women's bowling coach Aaron White announced James Campbell has joined his coaching staff as an assistant coach on Monday.

Campbell has plenty of experience on the bowling circuit as he has been a part of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) since 1982. Among his many accomplishments, Campbell has won nine PBA Regional Titles, won the PBA South Region Pat Patterson Award, finished second in the PBA 50 Tournament at Spectrum Lanes, and was the 2004 USBC Team All Events Champion. Campbell was also elected to the Gulf Coast USBC Hall of Fame, has multiple USBC and PBA 300 games/800 series, and won two state titles as a four-year member of the Lakewood High School bowling team.

During his time as a professional bowler, Campbell has bowled in 50 PBA tour tournaments, including numerous regional tournaments. Campbell owned and operated a bowling pro shop from 1983-1987 and has given private instructions while serving as a volunteer coach for a youth program. Campbell has served as a part-time employee at Bowling World Pro Shop and as a staff member for the brands Brunswick, Vise Inserts, and IAM Bowling.

Campbell will primarily be assisting with the men's program.
