Men's Bowling Opens Season at Columbia 300 Western Shootout
Indianapolis, Ind.- The men's bowling team, the 2023-24 Mid-South Conference Champions, opened the 2024-25 season with a tournament in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday and Sunday. In a field of 31 teams, the Bulldogs finished 10th overall at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout
In the six team games, TWU accumulated 6,137 pins. Their highest game came in the sixth team game when the team scored 1,076 pins. In the baker games, the team added 3,355 more pins to get to a total of 9,492 pins. The team knocked down over 200 pins in 12 of the 16 baker games with a high score of 248, which occurred in the fourth baker game.
Individually, Kory Driver had the highest finish on the team, finishing in 61st place. Driver knocked down 1,243 pins through six games, an average of 209.
Up next for the bowling team is the Greater Nashville Open in Smyrna, Tenn., on Saturday, Oct. 26.
