Bio

Aaron White begins his fourth year as the head coach of the men's and women's bowling teams in the 2023-2024 season. 

White served two seasons as an assistant coach for both programs before taking over as head coach. The Cleveland, Tenn., native brings more than 34 years of bowling experience to Tennessee Wesleyan. White is a two-time Professional Bowling Association (PBA) Regional Tournament Champion, a two-time Southern Match Game Tournament Champion, a two-time Tennessee State Bowling Champion (Scratch All-Events), a five-time Tennessee State Bowling Team Champion (Scratch/Handicap), winning the most recent one in 2019. White has won multiple Scratch Bowling Tournaments, has over 60 perfect 300 bowling games with nine coming during play in the PBA, and 20-plus 800 bowling series with a high bowling series score of 858. White has been named the Male Bowler of the Year by the Cleveland, Tennessee Bowling Association twice. 

Along with his time as an assistant coach for TWU, White has also served as an assistant coach for the Bradley Central High School Boy's & Girl's Bowling Team and has coached privately for over 20 years. White has also worked as the Bowling Center/Pro Shop Owner at Village Lanes, as part of the Ebonite Bowling Pro Staff and Storm Bowling Pro Staff, as general manager of the Galaxy Bowling Center and Holiday Bowl Hixson, and currently serves as Pro Shop Manager and Head Pro at Leisure Time Bowling and a Brunswick Bowling Pro Regional Staff Member and works with Crooms & Co. Signs. The Cleveland State Community College graduate and PBA School attendee was a member of the PBA from 1989-2000 and is currently a member of the PBA 50. 

In his first season, White led the men's program to the best record (55-10) in program history and the best finish in the Mid-South Conference regular-season standings (2nd). White also led the team to the USBC Sectionals where the team finished in seventh place. White saw three of his student-athletes named to the All-Conference Teams by the Mid-South Conference and a student-athlete named NAIA All-American (the first in program history). 

White coached the team to more history in his second season. White coached the runner-up in the Mid-South Conference Tournament in Devean Littlejohn. White also saw a student-athlete (Zach Price) take home the program's first-ever Mid-South Conference Player of the Year award. The program also qualified for the first-ever NAIA National Tournament. White coached the program's second player to All-American honors in Price.

In his third season as the leader of the men's bowling program, White saw the team achieve an NAIA All-American for the third season in a row as Jacob Watts was named to the Second Team.
