Men's Golf Finishes Seventh at Garn Championship

Lexington, Ky.- The men's golf team returned to the links on Monday and Tuesday. The team competed at the Garn Championship hosted by Spring Arbor University. The tournament took place at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Lexington, Ky. 

Bradley Dunkle had the highest individual finish on the team, using scores of 79, 75, and 74 to total 228 to finish in a tie for 13th place. Josh Loveday finished in a tie for 19th place after carding a 230 in the three rounds with scores of 75, 78, and 77. Scores of 75, 79, and 83 place Jacob Parton in a tie for 42nd place with a three-round score of 237. 

A three-round score of 246 with round scores of 81, 83, and 82 placed Joe Britton in a tie for 71st. Rounding the field for the Bulldogs was Forrest Atkins, whose scores of 86, 87, and 87 gave him a total of 260 to be tied for 90th place.  

The team finished with a total of 941 to finish in seventh place after the three rounds. TWU moved up two spots up the board from their first (310) and second (315) round totals, shooting 316 in the final round for their seventh-place finish. 

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Eagles Invitational at Barnsley Gardens on April 10-11.
