Loveday Wins AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the weekly award winner for men's golf on Monday. Taking home the Men's Golfer of the Week award was Josh Loveday. This was the seventh edition of the award for 2023-24 and the second of the spring season.

Loveday took home the award based on his performance at the Skyhawk Spring Invitational, his first tournament of the 2023-24 season. The Etowah, Tenn., native played two of the three rounds of the tournament at or under the 72 par when he shot 72 in the first round and 70 in the second round. The junior finished the tournament with a 76 in the third round to total 218 in the three rounds, two-over par. 

This is the first weekly award for Loveday. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, March 18.
