Men's Golf Competes at Innisbrook
PALM HARBOR, Fla.- The men's golf team returned to the links for their second tournament of the fall season on Monday and Tuesday. The team played at The Invite at Innisbrook. The tournament consisted of three rounds. The tournament consisted of 20 teams, 13 ranked teams and five receiving votes.
The highest finisher on the team was Josh Loveday, who used rounds of 71, 77 and 76 to finish with a 224 total for 26th place. Dalton Sutton had the next highest finish, finishing in 53rd place after shooting 79, 70, and 80 for a 229 total. Sitting in a tie for 79th Cody Skipper (76, 84, 77) and JT McKenzie (76, 79, 82), giving them a total of 237 while Dodj Watson had a total score of 245 after rounds of 86, 75, and 84 to finish in 100th.
As a team, the Bulldogs finished 16th overall after the three rounds. The team shot 302, 301, and 315 through the three rounds for a team total of 918.
Up next for TWU is the Music City Collegiate at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn. The tournament is set for Oct. 7-8.
