Men's Golf Finishes Third at AAC Fall Preview

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga.- The men's golf team played the final tournament of their fall season on Monday and Tuesday. The schedule took them to Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Ga., for the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Fall Preview. 

TWU had two golfers make the All-Tournament Team. Jacob Parton led the way in second place with a total score of 222 after rounds of 72, 73, and 77. Dalton Sutton also made the All-Tournament Team by finishing fourth with a score of 227 after scores of 80, 73, and 74. A score of 234 placed with three scores of 78 placed Cody Skipper in 14th place while Josh Loveday finished tied for 26th after carding 79, 78, and 81 in the tournament.

JT McKenzie, playing as an individual, was tied for 36th after rounds of 76, 81, and 86 for a total score of 243. Owen Kreuger (91, 77, 80; 248) and Dodj Watson (83, 78, 88; 249, individual) finished back-to-back in 47th and 48th place, respectively.  

As a team, the Bulldogs finished 3rd overall after the three rounds. The team shot 309, 301, and 309 through the three rounds for a team total of 919.

This was the final tournament of the fall season for the team.
