
Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at BMCU Spring Classic
WEST POINT, Miss.- The men's golf team returned to the links for the third round of the Blue Mountain Christian University Spring Classic on Tuesday. The first two rounds were played on Monday at Old Waverly Golf Club.
Josh Loveday had the highest finish on the team, shooting 73 to finish tied for 16th with a 222 total score. A score of 77 placed Dalton Sutton in a tie for 24th place, making his total 225. Jacob Parton carded a score of 73, finishing tied for 33rd with a score of 228 while JT McKenzie finished tied for 37th after shooting 79 in the third round and finishing the tournament with a total of 229. Cody Skipper rounded out the Bulldogs on the individual scoreboard, finishing with a total of 233 after a third-round score of 81 to be tied for 54th place.
On the team scoreboard, TWU finished with 302 strokes, moving their three-round score to a combined 900. The team finished eighth overall.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Eagle Invitational at Griffin Gate in Lexington, Ky. The tournament is set for April 7-8.
