Williamsburg, Ky.- The men's lacrosse team went on the road for a conference game on Tuesday. The schedule took the Bulldogs to face the No. 6 University of the Cumberlands Patriots.

Hayden Harmon scored the first goal of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game off a Jackson Lollis assist. The offense went cold as Cumberlands scored the next five goals. The first quarter ended with Harmon returning the favor to Lollis on a goal, making the score 5-2 in favor of the opponents at the end of the quarter.

The offense was not able to gain much traction in the second quarter. Cumberlands scored the first three goals of the quarter. Harmon broke the scoring drought but the opponents ended the half scoring the last four goals to put TWU in a 12-3 hole at the halftime break.

Out of the halftime break, the Bulldogs went on a scoring spree. Jaylan Steen started the spree with a goal off a Robert Holekamp assist. Kennedy Moore followed with a goal and Carson Bowling made it three goals in a row, making the score 12-6. Steen scored one more goal in the quarter off a Jack Driscoll assist, and the scoreboard read 14-7 at the end of the third quarter.
