Men's Lacrosse Falls on Senior Day

ATHENS, Tenn.- The men's lacrosse team played their final game of the season on Saturday. The team hosted the No. 4 University of the Cumberlands Patriots for Senior Day.

The game became tied after a Kennedy Moore goal made the score 1-1. The team could not keep the momentum though as Cumberlands scored the next three goals to take a lead. The opponents kept the tide in their favor in the second quarter, scoring the six next goals of the game to put the team in a bigger hole. Moore scored once more and Carson Bowling added a goal to make the score 10-3 at halftime.

Unfortunately, TWU scored once more in the game. It came off the stick of Robert Holekamp in the opening seconds of the third quarter. The team went on to fall in the game by a final score of 18-4.

Tennessee Wesleyan closed the season with a 5-9 overall record.
