Men's Lacrosse Drops Home Finale to No. 2 Reinhardt

ATHENS, Tenn.- The men's lacrosse team was in action on their home field for the final time during the 2025 season. TWU fell to the second-ranked Reinhardt University Eagles in the home finale 14-5. 

TWU was put in a hole early in the game. The opponents scored four goals to take a 4-0 advantage. The Bulldogs were not able to get on the board in the first quarter, going into the second trailing 4-0.

Jack Driscoll scored off a Carson Bowling assist in the opening minutes of the second quarter to cut the lead to three goals. Reinhardt did not allow Tennessee Wesleyan to gain any momentum though, scoring the next three goals to take a 7-1 lead into the halftime break.

After two goals by the Eagles to begin the third quarter, Hayden Harmon scored a goal. Harmon scored once more in the quarter, but the team was not able to find much traction, going into the fourth quarter trailing 13-3. 

In the final quarter, Driscoll scored his second goal of the game. Bowling added a goal for the Bulldogs, but the team was not able to pull closer in their final home game.

Tennessee Wesleyan (4-9, 1-6 AAC) will play their final game of the season on Saturday. The team will travel to face No. 3 University of the Cumberlands at 3:00 p.m.
