BLUEFIELD, Va.- The men's soccer team picked up a road Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) win on Saturday. The team defeated the Bluefield University Rams 5-0.
In the five-goal outing, the Bulldogs only scored one goal in the first half. The goal occurred in the 12th minute of the contest when Khumo Modise scored, giving TWU a 1-0 advantage.
Bada Sady scored the next three goals on his way to a hat trick in the second half. His first two goals occurred with 1:36 of each other, with the first popping in the 59th minute on a Grant Barron assist and the second on a Francesco Conti assist. Sady's third goal was off Barron's second assist of the half. The final goal of the contest came off the foot of Barron, giving the team a 5-0 win for the second consecutive game.
The win moved the team's record to 4-2-2 overall and 2-1-2 in the AAC.
