Men's Soccer Falls to CIU

ATHENS, Tenn.- The men's soccer team had a tough day on the pitch on Saturday. The team fell 3-0 in their Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game against the Columbia International University Rams.

After 45 minutes of play, the game was tied 0-0. Shots by Francesco Conti and Sjoerd Spijkers did not find the back of the net for the Bulldogs. 

The three goals that sunk Tennessee Wesleyan in the game occurred in the second half. Attempts by Bada Sady, Sifiso Ngwenya, and Robin Vezinhet did not go in the goal as the visitors ended the game with their 3-0 advantage.

The schedule sends the Bulldogs (4-4-2, 2-3-2 AAC) to Kentucky for an AAC game against the University of Pikeville on Wednesday. The game is set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
