No. 2 Men's Tennis Outscores Milligan

ELIZABETHTON, Tenn.- The men's tennis team went on the road for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game on Thursday. The team traveled to face the Milligan University Buffaloes where they would win 7-0.

The team won all the doubles matches on their way to the win. Gregorio Magnarelli and Octavio Volpi won the No. 1 doubles match 6-3, David Leon and Zoilo Rios won the No. 2 doubles match 6-2 and Maceo Simpson and Agustin Gaia took the No. 3 doubles by a score of 6-0.

In the singles, Volpi won the No. 1 spot 7-5, 6-0 while Sabi Roi took the No. 2 singles match 3-6, 7-5, 6-4. Patricios Gallegos won the No. 3 singles match 6-0, 6-2 and Rios got his second win of the day in the No. 4 spot, 6-2, 7-5. Leon (No. 5) and Gaia (No. 6) both also picked up second wins, winning their respective matches 6-1, 6-2, and 6-1, 6-0.

The win moved the team to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the AAC.
