Men's Indoor Track and Field Goes Outdoors for Season Opener

OAK RIDGE, Tenn.- The men's track and field program started the indoor portion of their schedule on Wednesday.  The team competed at the Ben Martin First Chance Meet, a small meet held outdoors and featuring four other teams from the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

At the meet, the Bulldogs saw two student-athletes hit NAIA National Standards to qualify them for the national championship meet. Ke'Andrae Campbell hit an "A" standard with his winning time of 6.76 in the 60m Dash while KT Buchanan hit a "B" standard while finishing second with a time of 6.83.

Along with Campbell's win, TWU picked up wins in the Long Jump (Armoni Hicks, 6.80m), 3000 Meters Race (Dani Meisen, 9:26.51) and the 200m Dash (Buchanan, 21.98).
