Men's Outdoor Track and Field Finishes Sixth at Emory Dooley Elite Meet

ATLANTA, Ga.- The men's outdoor track and field team was back in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday for the Emory Dooley Elite Meet. KT BuchananJay Ellis, Roni Bailey, Dani Meisen, Tyler Bowers, Jack Headrick, Braden Huyhn, Caleb Greene, Conner Craig, Armoni Hicks, Lukas Henson, and Tyson Thompson all recorded top-ten finishes in their events. 

Ellis (10.77) and Buchanan (10.84) were top ten in the 100m Dash, finishing fourth and sixth, respectively.

Bailey was fifth in the 400m Race with a time of 50.42. 

In the 800m Race, Meisen (1:56. 51, 3rd), Bowers (1:57.01, 5th), Headrick (2:00.09, 9th), and Huyhn (2:00.59, 10th) gave the Bulldogs four runners in the top ten. 

Greene (9:03.30) and Craig (10:37.70) finished second and seventh in the 3000m Race. 

Hicks hit a mark of 6.66m to finish second in the Long Jump. 

Henson was fourth in the Triple Jump, leaping 12.20m in the event.

Thompson recorded three top-ten finishes. Thompson finished third in the Javelin with a mark of 47.07m, ninth in the Discus with a mark of 34.89m, and 10th in the Shot Put with a mark of 11.76m.

The 4x100m Relay Team of Ellis, Buchanan, Bailey, and Ke'Andrae Campbell finished second in the event with a time of 41.59.

Mayfield- 1:10.68- 18th

Smack- 1:13.96, 19th

Shot Put:

Brayden Cloud- 9.58m, 13th

Konner Boyle- 9.02m, 14th

Nathan Crisp- 8.40m, 15th

Discus:

Boyle- 33.08m, 13th

Cloud- 30.18m, 15th

Hammer Throw:

Boyle- 29.87m, 14th

Cloud- 28.26m, 16th

Crisp- 19.70m, 17th

 

The schedule sends the Bulldogs back to Lee University for their Flames Invite on Friday and Saturday.
