
Men's Track and Field Garner AAC Awards
Waleska, Ga.- The year-end awards for men's track and field were announced by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) on Monday. Since the All-Conference Teams are given out by finish at the conference championship meet, the awards released were the All-Academic Team and Champions of Character Team. The team's representative on the AAC Champions of Character Team was Jasiah Brown. To be named to the Champions of Character Team, a player must exhibit the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.
Mack Alas, Edward Hall, and Tevon Shuler were named to the AAC All-Academic Team. To earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be in sophomore academic standing and maintain a 3.25 grade-point average.
