Men's Cross Country Runs Finishes Sixth at Ray Bullock Invitational

UPLAND, Ind./CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- The men's cross country team saw members of their teams compete in two different races. Seven members of the team went to the Ray Bullock Invitational on Friday in Upland, Ind., while a few others went to the Nooga at Night on Saturday in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Ray Bullock Invitational:

The race in Upland, Ind., consisted of 13 teams and 139 runners. The race was run on an 8K course. 

The top finisher for the team was Mack Alas with a time of 26:26 for 15th place. Following behind was Caleb Greene, who finished in 21st with a time of 26:40. Eli Cox was the next Bulldog to finish the race, running a time of 28:06 to finish in 53rd. A time of 28:21 gave Conner Craigh 60th place while Adrian Nelka-Hernandez finished 74th with a time of 28:51. Jack Headrick (28:59, 77th) and Dani Meisen (30:25, 108th) rounded out the Tennessee Wesleyan runners in the race.

On the team scoreboard, the Bulldogs were sixth with 173 scoring points. 

Nooga at Night

At the first annual Nooga at Night, a 5K race, Stephen Kerley had the highest finish of the Bulldogs runners, finishing 24th with a time of 16:09. Braden Huyhn was not far behind, finishing with a time of 16:27 for 31st place. Randy Barnes was 57th in the race with a time of 17:32. 

The team will run their final meet of the regular season for their next race, serving as the hosts of the NAIA Appalachian Challenge on Friday, Oct. 25.
