
Women's Bowling Takes the Lanes at Bowlero Southern Classic
MARIETTA, Ga.- The women's bowling team bowled in their first tier I bowling event of the season. The team competed at the Bowlero Southern Classic in Marietta, Ga. The event occurred on Saturday and Sunday.
A total score of 8,608 pins placed the women's team in 15th place.
Individually, Kyleigh Husted had the highest finish with a total of 1,144 pins for 22nd place. Madison Davis was 34th in the tournament, knocking down 1,090 pins. Stormy Wallace (703, 87th), Madison Bradley (685, 88th), and Ella Husted (675, 89th) finished back-to-back-to-back to give the team five bowlers in the top 100.
TWU will get a little longer than a month off before their next event as they will compete at the Glenn Carlson Memorial Dec. 18-19 in Las Vegas, Nev.
