Women's Bowling Debut at Columbia 300 Western Shootout

Indianapolis, Ind.- The women's bowling team began 2024-25 season at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout. The tournament was played in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday and Sunday. There were 23 teams in the tournament. 

A total of 8,546 helped the Lady Bulldogs finish in 12th place. In the six team games, TWU knocked down 5,578 pins. The team scored a team-high 1,051 in the fifth team game. In the baker games, the team knocked down 2,968 to get to their final score of the tournament. Their highest baker game score was 246 in the fourth baker game.

Individually, Ella Husted had the highest finish on the team. A total of 1,241 pins helped Husted finish in ninth place.

Up next for the bowling team is the Greater Nashville Open in Syrmna, Tenn., on Saturday, Oct. 26.
