Women's Bowling Falls in MSC Tournament

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The women's bowling team were attempting to win a conference championship over the past few days. The team competed at the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowling Championships. 

In their first round match on Thursday, the fifth-seeded Lady Bulldogs had a tough time as they fell to the No. 4 seed University of the Cumerlands 4-2, sending them to the consolation bracket. 

Their first round of the consolation bracket took place on Friday against No. 8 seed Campbellsville University. TWU were able to stay alive in the bracket, beating the opponents 4-1. Unfortunately, their next round saw the team fall to the No. 3 seed, Midway University, 4-3, ending their time in the tournament. 

USBC ITC Sectionals

The team learned they were selected to compete at the Smyrna, Tenn., USBC ITC Sectionals at the Smyrna, Tenn., location. The team will compete there March 8-9.
