Women's Golf Concludes Fall Season with Win at Alice Lloyd Invite

COHUTTA, Ga.- The women's golf team completed their final tournament of the fall season on Tuesday. The Alice Lloyd Invite started on Monday at the Nob North Golf Club in Cohutta, Ga., and ended with the second round on Tuesday.

Tennessee Wesleyan took home both the team and individual titles at the tournament. Cora Mount won the individual title with a score of 159, shooting 78 and 81 to get the two-round total. Morgan Satterfield finished tied for second, shooting 79 and 81 through the two rounds for a final score of 160. Olivia Sargla was tied for fourth with two rounds of 82 to post a 164 total while Bevin Harrill was seventh with a total of 166 after shooting 86 and 80 in the two rounds. Ann Sofie Madsen carded an 80 and 89 to see a total score of 169, finishing tied for eighth place to give the team five finishers in the top eight.

Mount, Satterfield, and Sargla were all named to the All-Tournament with their finishes.

The team won the team title by 15 strokes. After a first-round team total of 319, the Lady Bulldogs shot 324 to create the separation at the top, making their two-day total 643.

The team will return to action in the spring.
