Women's Golf Finishes Fifth at AAC Direct Qualifier

ACWORTH, Ga.- The women's golf team played for a conference championship on Monday and Tuesday. Along with the chance at a championship, the team was also playing for an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship Tournament at the AAC Direct Qualifier. The tournament was played at Governor's Towne Club in Acworth, Ga. The tournament consisted of three rounds.

Cora Mount had the highest finish on the team, shooting 85, 75, and 80 for a three-round total of 240 to finish in 15th place. The next highest spot on the board belonged to Morgan Satterfield after recording scores of 84, 78, and 81 to be tied for 16th place with a total score of 243. Scores of 82, 82, and 84 placed for a three-round total of 248 placed Ann Sofie Madsen in 20th place. Matching scores of 250 made Bevin Harrill (84, 83, 83) and Madison Atchley (82, 84, 84)  tie for 22nd on the scoreboard.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished fifth overall. The combined team scores for TWU were 332, 318, and 328 for a three-round total of 978.

This was the final event of the season for the team.
