Women's Golf Records Sixth-Place Finish at East Tennessee Collegiate

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.- The women's golf team played two rounds of golf at the East Tennessee Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament was played at the Johnson City Country Club in Johnson City, Tenn.

On the individual scoreboard, TWU had three golfers finish in the top 30. Maisie Hassall finished tied for 11th overall, shooting 81 and 73 in the two rounds for a total of 154.  June Greene had rounds of 82 and 85 for a total score of 167 to finish in a tie for 25th place while Madison Atchley shot 85 and 83 to finish tied for 27th with a total score of 168. Two-round totals of 185 placed Cadie Prater (91, 94) and Ashlynn Guy (90, 95) in a tie for 41st place. Maylie Stout rounded out the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard, finishing in 43rd with a score of 186 after shooting 95 and 91.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished sixth overall. The combined team scores for TWU were 338 and 335, giving the team a two-round total of 673.
