Women's Golf Finishes Fifth at TWU Fall Invitational

VONORE, Tenn.- The women's golf team returned to the links for a tournament on Saturday and Sunday. This time, they were the hosts of the TWU Fall Invitational, played at The Links at Kahite in Vonore, Tenn.

Maisie Hassall earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after finishing tied for third by shooting 72 and 75 for a two-round total of 147. June Greene and Madison Atchley finished back-to-back in 16th and 17th, respectively. Greene carded 82 and 72 for a score of 161 while Atchley had scores of 79 and 83 to finish with a score of 162. A score of 178 placed Cadie Prater (92, 86) in 29th place while Ashlynn Guy, playing as an individual, was 35th with a total of 193 after rounds of 100 and 93.

Ashlyn Rawlings was 36th on the individual scoreboard after shooting 95 and 100 for a total score of 195. The final individual for TWU, Maylie Stout, shot 101 and 95 for a total score of 196, finishing in 38th place.  

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished fifth on the team scoreboard. TWU combined to shoot 325 and 323 through the two rounds, giving the team a total score of 648.
