Women's Golf Concludes Fall Season at AAC Fall Preview

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.- The women's golf team played three rounds of golf in Acworth, Ga., on Monday and Tuesday. The team played in their final tournament of the fall season at the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Preview.

Maisie Hassall had the highest finish of the TWU golfers on the individual, finishing tied for 8th overall, shooting 81, 73, and 76 in the three rounds for a total of 233.  A score of 251 placed Madison Atchley (82, 85, 84) in 26th place while June Greene had rounds of 92, 86, and 82 for a total score of 260 to finish in 31st place. Ashlynn Guy was tied for 41st after shooting 278 after rounds of 91, 100, and 87. Cadie Prater (99, 94, 89; 282) and Maylie Stout (101, 93, 91; 285) finished back-to-back on the leaderboard in 44th and 45th place, respectively. A three-round score of 320 placed Ashlyn Rawlings in 54th place in the field.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished fifth overall. The combined team scores for TWU were 343, 344, and 329, giving the team a two-round total of 1,016.

This concludes the fall portion of the schedule for the team.
