Three from Women's Golf Finish in Top 40 at Klash in Kentucky

PERRY PARK, Ky.- The women's golf team had one finisher in the top ten and two in the top forty of the Klash in Kentucky. The team played in the tournament held at Perry Park Golf Resort on Saturday and Sunday. 

Maisie Hassall finished in the top ten, shooting 80 and 79 on the Par 72 course for a total of 159. A total score of 173 over two rounds broke down to 88 and 85 placed June Greene in 31st place while Ashlynn Guy was the third golfer in the top 40 for TWU, shooting 91 and 86 to finish in 36th with a score of 177. A two-round total of 188 after two rounds of 94 placed Cadie Prater in 46th place. Ashlyn Rawlings finished the tournament in 51st place, shooting 107 and 101 to total 208.

As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished in eighth place. The team shot 353 in the first round and followed up with a score of 344 in the second round for a total of 697.

Next up is the TWU Spring Invite, set for April 7-8 at Springbrook Golf and Country Club in Niota, Tenn.
