Five From Women's Lacrosse Earn AAC Awards

Waleska, Ga.- The end-of-the-year awards for women's lacrosse were announced by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) on Thursday. The team had a player named to the AAC's Champions of Character Team and multiple student-athletes made the AAC All-Academic Team. 

Mac Alexander was the team's representative on the AAC Champions of Character Team. To be named to the Champions of Character Team, a player must exhibit the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership. 

Four players earned a spot on the AAC All-Academic Team. Riley Hendley, Hallie Huffman, Jacie Trejo, and Kennedy Wright were all named to the team. To earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be in sophomore in academic standing and maintain a 3.25 grade-point average.
