Hardardottir Earns AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- In the third edition of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) women's soccer weekly award, Krista Eik Hardardottir was named the Offensive Player of the Week. The award is based on her performance from the week of Sept. 9-15.

During the week, the senior collected ten points in helping the team go 1-0-1 in two AAC games. In the first game of the week against Johnson University, the forward scored two goals and assisted on two others in a 6-0 win. The Husavik, Iceland native added two more goals in a 2-2 tie against No. 21 Truett McConnell University. 

This is the first weekly award for Hardardottir. The next edition of the weekly awards will be announced on Monday, Sept. 23.
